Fantastic selection of wines and seafood. The location is on the water, so patio or indoor seating are both good. It is pricey, but worth the experience.

I will preface this by saying it has been a little bit since I went here, so the menu is probably different from when I went. The food was really good. We started off with the spirale di pane, which were delicious and perfectly flaky. I didn't like the tuna crudo appetizer we ordered, but that is mostly because I don't love raw seafood, but other people at the table really liked it. The burrata appetizer was also not as good as we were hoping. I ordered the pork belly as my main dish, and it was tougher than I would have liked. I thought it had really good flavor, and it went well with the peach and vegetables that came with it. I loved the truffle pasta, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The restaurant was nice enough to give us a complimentary dessert, as we came for my mother's birthday. It was a small lemon cake, and I was told that it was very good. The service was excellent, and I thought the restaurant was beautiful and it is located at a great location near the water. The food is a little bit pricy, and while some of the food felt worth the price, some of the other dishes did not, which is why I gave this restaurant 4 and not 5 stars.

Fiola Mare is one of the Fabio Trabocchi restaurants. I have dined in Sfoglina, Del Mar and Fiola Mare. Each restaurant has its own unique charm and I love them all. The service at any of the Fabio Trabocchi restaurants is consistently excellent. But Fiola Mare's location at the Georgetown waterfront gives it an edge over the other locations. We had the Sparkling Brunch which came with an appetizer, entree and dessert. I always enjoy the food here and certainly will return.

The entire experience was amazing. Location and views are great service was terrific. We enjoyed everything we had from handcrafted cocktails through the many layered chocolate cake. -1 star for the "vegetarian" ravioli noted on the menu as a vegetarian dish. Kudos to our server for calling out the chicken stock in the sauce and many thanks chef for making a change for the vegetarian in the group. To other vegan or vegetarians, excuse yourself when they bring out the cart with the fish options. But for the omnivorous in the crowd it's a part of the experience!

Been awhile since I've been here and even longer since I yelped it. Overall excellent- they remain high in my list. Diego was our server and was personable and took great care of us. We changed out reservation from 7:45 to 8:15 and I arrived about 8:25pm. They close at 9pm but never did anyone rush us at all. We were one of the last tables to leave. Thank you!! We got a nice table and I liked that. Probably the best one I've had there. The food was truly outstanding. After the amuse bouche, which was a perfect baby cup of soup with a few basil oil dots (note to self- do this at a future dinner party), we dove in... We started by splitting the crudo and the burrata. Loved the edible flowers on the crudo. Then we got the Fruiti de mare pasta for two. Wow! First time I had that dish where there was more fresh seafood than pasta!! It was also great the next day. We also got sides of spinach and beans. The spinach was ok. The beans were incredible. I need that recipe! The beans were also amazing the next day both cold and reheated. Those beans and some crusty bread would make a great lunch. For dessert we had a lemon thing that was a cake that looked like a lemon. It sat on a bed of sgroppino which brought back memories of Trieste, Venezia, and the surrounding area. Love this place. Highly recommend!

Fancy Italian dining on the water in Georgetown, it was a great spot for lunch on a snowy day. They have a big open space with great lighting and a patio. Services was excellent, as you'd expect at a restaurant like this. I appreciated the care and service when they knew full well I was there for the 3 course restaurant week menu. Order the croissant bread, it doesn't matter if it goes with your meal or not. This was the highlight and was very useful as I wanted to get every drop of the delicata squash soup. This was so flavorful and unexpected, I'm glad the serve recommended it. Next was the cavatelli, it was simple and perfect. Not necessarily something I'd order on a regular menu but as the 3 course lunch this was perfect. Dessert was the cannoli which I didn't love but I think I need to admit to myself I don't like cannolis so that's on me. Would love to return for future restaurant week meals or special occasions!
